It’s easy to put together, has plenty of storage, is sturdy yet easy to push, and very importantly, easy to steer. With many running strollers the front wheel is fixed and needs to be raised off the ground in order to make a turn, very inconvenient in tight places. The Schwinn Free Wheeler has the best of both worlds – a swivel wheel that provides fantastic manoeuvrability in the mall or grocery store, and with a simple push-clip the front wheel can be locked in place quickly when extra stability is needed such as jogging.
Being made of aluminium, the Schwinn Free Wheeler running stroller is light compared to similar strollers but perhaps a touch heavier than the more expensive strollers. The Schwinn Free Wheeler also packs away quickly and easily with the one-hand folding mechanism, making it easy to break down to transport or store.
The visor on the Schwinn Free Wheeler is fantastic as it not only provides plenty of great protection from the elements, but can also be detached from the top enabling it to be positioned at any angle, even in front of the child if walking towards the sunrise or sunset.
The handle easily adjusts up or down which is a great feature, meaning no matter what your height or running action, you will always be able to find a perfect comfortable height. This will also save many a backache where one partner is somewhat taller than the other!
With the Schwinn Free Wheeler running stroller your little passenger will not only enjoy the reclining and padded seating, the deluxe suspension system will also ensure a smooth ride on even bumpy roads. The robust harness will also mean you child is safe and comfortably secure no matter what the terrain or running speed.
The Schwinn Free Wheeler comes with more than ample storage in the undercarriage basket in addition to the numerous zippered pockets and trays. The child tray includes a shallow cup holder so that holding drinks, snacks and toys to keep little one occupied is covered. The child tray, if not needed, can be easily removed and whilst the undercarriage storage basket is large it is sufficiently far forward not to impede even the tallest parents stride.
Whilst the Scwhinn Free Wheeler may lack the finish of the BOB Revolution, it will do everything the BOB does but at half the price. I have no doubt that this is by far the best value jogger-stroller on the market. Now you just have to ask yourself: How much are you willing to pay for something better? Unless the answer is nearly double, I’d pick the Schwinn Free Wheeler.
